GOLF TECHNOLOGY:
The modern game is getting smarter.
Launch monitors, simulators, swing-analysis systems, GPS devices, AI coaching, putting technology, and other tools are changing how everyday golfers practice.
I’m particularly interested in one question:
Can this technology actually help an amateur golfer play better golf?
I’ll test products, compare competing systems, document results, and determine what’s useful versus what’s simply expensive technology looking for a problem to solve.

I’m a golfer trying to become considerably better at this game.
I’ll document that process here—the good rounds, terrible rounds, lessons, equipment changes, swing discoveries, practice experiments, statistics, breakthroughs, and probably a few things that turn out to be complete failures.
The goal isn’t perfection.
It’s improvement.
And if something I learn along the way can help another golfer shave a few strokes off their game, even better.
